    Getting started viewing sheet music with midi:  In order to view sheet music online you will need to first download an adobe acrobat reader pdf version of Christ, Our Savior Songbook  and then return here. There are several versions you can use now. You can get lead sheets, piano/vocal, vocal harmony with piano, director's score, etc. Read descriptions & download  pdf now.  When you have opened the file then browse to find the song you want to listen to. You might also check the indexes for ideas. When you find a song that you think you might want to listen to then select the appropriate red midi file below which is the actual piano part in Christ, Our Savior Songbook Piano/Vocal Edition. The piano part is also playing the tune to the song so it makes it easy to sing along and learn the song.  You can sing vocal harmonies and even practice instrument or percussion parts if you download the appropriate pdf edition. 
    Troubleshooting: In order to view these songs you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. 
    If you can view the songs but can't hear the midi then make sure you have software that plays midi such as windows media player. If you have installed the software & still don't hear anything make sure you have a sound card & settings in the control panel for midi are correct & that your speakers and volume are turned on.
    Viewing Indexes: If you are in a hurry,  you can also quickly view the indexes to the songbook in pdf format.  Indexes included are: 1) Medleys, 2) Key, Modulation, Meter & Tempo, 3) Topical, 4) Scripture, 5) Alphabetical
    Midi Trax: General Midi (.mid files) for each of the songs in Christ, Our Savior Piano/Vocal Edition are under the title below &  labeled midi trax in red & should open up in your default media player such as Windows Media Player.  These files can be used in church services with your sequencer since they are the complete song and are the same as the piano part in the piano edition. The songs can be best viewed in the songbook because .mid files do not retain certain visual features in the notation of the score necessary for human performance. They are designed to be opened by a lot of music editing softwares & players so they have reduced features by nature. The .mid files below have been edited to sound excellent but they are also subject to the sound card, midi sounds & speakers in your computer system. To get the best sound with these .mid files you would need to play them through a good synthesizer. To get piano parts to the songs which have been designed for human play we suggest that you order the piano/vocal edition which comes with a double cd of high quality audio & midi. 
    Transparency (lyrics) (OHT): Rich test format files for the appropriate song are under the piano trax below & labeled in yellow & should open up in your default text editor such as Microsoft Word and can be copied & pasted into powerpoint.     CCLI Song #'s: The #'s are posted at the top of each song below. The sheet music with midi files below, by The King's Court are free, but your report to CCLI, however, will help support the songwriter through royalties. By copyright law a report from your licensed church to CCLI is necessary if congregational singing is used to perform these songs in your church.
