     To those concerned,
As a result of our last newsletter The Kings Court has joined  in a partnership with The Journey Center which allows Will Goldstein ( Founder of The King's  Court) to continue putting the "Bible to Music"  by receiving tax deductible donations from people and organizations via the Journey Center - a non-profit organization. Donations can be made online using the “donate now” button at the top of the page, being sure to note that the donation is for thePut the Bible to Music Project".
If you can not afford to give, there are still a couple of things that you can do to help. #1 - pray that the Lord will provide people willing to fund this project and #2 - you can help in finding willing participants through email. Just copy and paste this handy BibleToMusic.txt file into your email and send to anyone who you think might be interested

So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Below is a copy of our last newsletter (05/11) with details about the "Put The Bible to Music Project"

Thank you for taking time to read this newsletter and considering this opportunity. This letter is being sent as a result of some discussions I, Will Goldstein, had with the pastor of Sebastopol Christian Church, Rev. Jesse Bradley, and my son-in-law, Chris Chesbro. After much prayer, I approached Rev. Jesse at his office and told him that I had for the most part finished a rough draft, so to speak, of putting to music all the lyrical content of the entire New Testament. He came over to my house, and I showed him the pencil scores of my music. He soon came to the conclusion, as I had years ago, that this work could be very useful and could potentially have great spiritual value for many people. But it would require a whole team effort to make the music presentable as downloadable sheet music, lyrics, recordings, etc. He listened to my music and was very encouraging.
I explained that I had been daily working on my music alone for the last 31 years in my spare time-writing songs each morning. I have made my living teaching and performing secular music, but I am going on 60 and realize, having already had cancer, that there is a deep passion to continue to share this spiritually uplifting music. I created my first website (thekingscourt.com) on Nov 19, 1998 and still have only a very small portion of my music posted, but even so, the website had over 54,000 visitors last year with 150,620 hits. We discussed how others, who might be interested in supporting such a project of creating more biblical music that could be made available on the internet for people all over the world, should be notified. I expressed concern over the possibility of losing so great a work due to lack of funds to pay for help, fire, or even neglect.
Most all of my music is either scripture or spiritual themes from the Bible being put to music. Many of these songs are, in the view of the composer, poetic and melodic meditations on the scriptures, but also can be organized into pdf books based on works such as operas/musicals, scriptural themes set to suites and song cycles, using various song forms such as standard verse chorus, canons, etc. It can cover a wide variety of styles from meditative Taize style, to country, rock, blues, jazz, swing, Celtic, classical, choral, etc. It should be stressed that, at least to the knowledge of the composer, the music is quite unique and in a genre and sub genres all by itself.
When meeting with Rev. Jesse we discussed, as mentioned above, how there might be some Christians who would be interested in supporting such a project if they knew about it. I currently have a business license dba The King’s Court which is listed as the copyright on all my songs. This letter is also being addressed to the public because I am searching for people who may have expertise, knowledge, or connections to patrons who would potentially be interested in this project. The simple desire is to make this music available to people for God’s purposes.
If you, or anyone you know, might be interested in supporting this project in any way please contact me. I would appreciate any help. The initial goal is to have simple recordings and scores, probably lead sheets, for all the New Testament. It should be noted that the estimated time frame is several thousand man hours. It should also be noted that a great deal of music from the Old Testament has already been written.

Below is a letter from Reverend Jesse Bradley

Hello, my name is Jesse Bradley, and I am the senior pastor at Sebastopol Christian Church. I am writing this letter to let you know about a unique collection of music. Will Goldstein has written songs for the entire New Testament and for major portions of the Old Testament. You can listen to some of his music on his website.
Will has simply meditated on the Bible each day and written songs out of those passages. Amazingly, he has done this for over 30 years in His walk with God. As he has advanced in age, he is exploring new ways to share this music with other people. His hope is to build people up spiritually and point them to The Bible.
It would take a team of people to make this music available. It would also take some funding. These aren’t Will’s areas of expertise- he is a song writer and musician. If you have any ideas or support for this endeavor, please contact Will. There is great potential with his music. Thanks for your consideration.

For His Glory,
Jesse Bradley
