The Long Awaited First CD
"His Name Is Jesus"

Some of you have may been wondering if the promised cd by The King's Court would ever be delivered. Some of you who visited our website to download Christ, Our Savior Songbook as far back as 2000 may not even remember that you had ever visited The King's Court before. In the last 6 years, request were made for demos that I could not fulfill simply because I did not have a finished cd. The truth is, without a cd many people do not take ones music seriously even with songbooks. Even so, I am thankful that without a cd the Lord has blessed this ministry so that other churches over the years have been using some of these songs in their services as noted by the fact that I am receiving royalty checks. People for a long time told me that people need to hear the cd. Well, now there is one. I hope they were right all along, and I hope that "His Name Is Jesus cd" takes this ministry to a new level. Friends of mine who have heard the cd have commented that if people could just hear it many would buy it.  We'll see if they are right.
An enormous amount of work went into this cd, far more than I expected. I am very happy with the results, and the help I had from other vocalists & musicians, however most of the work was done by myself. The jobs that I took on in my spare time for this project included: recording artist, musician, sound engineer, producer, songwriter, arranger, mixing technician, effects specialist and mastering. Many of these jobs I knew little about before beginning. This cd is probably a lot different than most cd's because the process I went through to create it is uniquely different than most cd's nowadays. I first wrote the songs as lead sheets in books, arranged the songs in different books with vocal harmonies, instruments & percussion, used midi files as an aid, and then track by track recorded the score with vocals & real instruments (some sequencing). This process I hope will enable other churches to reproduce this cd in their churches if they have the musicians. Through this process I was also able to create a wide range of products for churches to use. The idea I have always had is that I want to make products so that any church no matter how huge with a full orchestra or small with say 50 people & no musicians could still use my songs effectively. Viewing our products/descriptions page should enlighten you as to just how that can be done. Anyway, it's time to say farewell, thanks for stopping by and exploring some of my thoughts with me. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to write them in the form below.

Sincerely,

Will Goldstein

P.S.
A prayer concern that I would also like to share with you is that last year I was diagnosed with lymphoma, but a recent pet scan after chemotherapy and radiation has shown that there is no cancer. I do however always seem to have health issues.  Last year I wondered if I would be dead by now, but by God's grace, here I am, still alive. Thanks again for stopping by. If you know any church leaders who would be interested in this newsletter feel free to copy and paste the link below into an email and invite them to come and read it. I would be very interested in knowing if other church leaders such as yourself have any comments.
