Death Of The Old And Birth
Of The New
The King's Court has recently changed it's
status at ccli, and is now in their international system as a publisher for
about 200 countries. For the last few years, the scope of our ministry through
ccli only included U.S. & Canada. Praise God for this boost to our
ministry.
At this time in our ministry I feel it is
time to bid farewell to past dreams and hopes, and press on toward the future
of this ministry. It is my heart's desire to reach as many different ethnic people
groups as possible with the gospel set to music. I do not know if I will ever
reach my ultimate goal, at my age with my health, but I will tell you what it is.
THE VISION: "My vision is to
have a website based on verse by verse links from all the
lyrical text of the bible to a matching song. Imagine being able to go through
the entire New Testament, pick almost any verse, and download a song based on
that verse or group of verses."
In my way of thinking this could certainly be
useful to pastors selecting songs to tie in with their sermons. My goal in the past to reach this vision was to generate
sales and donations to pay for help to produce more songbooks, parts, mp3's
& midi because the task is far too great for me alone with such a huge
catalog of songs. In today's free world
of music & the music industry's focus on young, hip superstars, attempts at
securing the financial base I need to implement my vision has failed. With our
new status at ccli, perhaps things will improve, and royalty checks will
increase. I praise and thank God for all the churches who have used these songs
and reported usage since this is my only source of income at this time from this
particular ministry.
If God loves this music as I do, then He will bring about
this vision when, and if He
chooses and in the way He chooses. I can only surrender the vision to God and
tell you about it. I believe, the vision I stated above requires a global network. You can
help by telling your friends, pastors, music directors, worship team leaders and
musicians around the world, in every continent, about this vision and then pray
for The Touch Of The Master's Hand.
